Venturi Air Blowers
Plastic Venturi Blower
Venturi blowers are ideal for removing harmful vapors from underground locations and are also commonly used for ventilation in enclosed spaces. Venturi blowers are often referred to as “air horns” or “jet blowers”. They are devices with no moving parts that can generate high ventilation volumes and are powered by compressed air or steam. Therefore, they are suitable for applications involving hazardous gases and are a perfect solution for ventilating or extracting hazardous and explosive vapors from tanks. Additionally, it can be used to cool down machinery or workers.
Venturi blowers are ventilation and exhaust devices based on the Venturi principle. They generate a powerful airflow by expanding or accelerating the air within a conical tube through the expansion of compressed air or steam through small nozzles on their metal base. Venturi blowers are commonly used for ventilation and exhaust in confined environments such as tank farms, chemical towers, oil refineries, chemical plants, pressure vessels, and cooling and drying systems. They are also widely used in warehouses, maintenance access points, sandblasting areas in foundries and glass factories, and shipyards.
